On the back burner of my mind, (I have a huge ol’ wood-burning stove) I have been thinking about all the debates and sometimes rants that are going on. I realize that they say some things on purpose to stir the pot and get rapid fire responses and titillating conversations going but, really, what do you base your rebuttals on?

Do you use your extensive, I-could-beat-Jeopardy-any-day tactics or has life given you a panoramic worldview of experiences to draw from?

I believe, and I wish that every person could travel and volunteer to work in a foreign country. This will add a rich perspective in which to draw your thoughts and insights from and you will enrich all of our lives with what you have seen, experienced and learned. Try to think of your rebuttal from a myriad of perspectives BEFORE dropping it out in the ether.
