Unlocked by Karen Kingsbury
Each time I dig into a Karen Kingsbury book, I take a deep breath and I ask God, “What are you going to teach me through this story, Lord?” Often the issues the characters are facing are all too familiar. Thank you, once again, Karen, for delivering another impactful, insightful, straight from my Daddy’s heart to yours, story. I recommend a box of kleenex, but maybe that is just for me.
Kingsbury beautifully brings a richness and depth to each of her characters. I found several of my character traits within the primary and secondary characters. We are all unique people and this is good and important to learn from each other. We all deal with heartfelt issues in original ways, and that’s okay, too. I absolutely love the protagonist’s heart. So often we look at the outward appearance or whatever a person shows us, but if we take time to delve deeper, they may surprise us.
Thank you, Karen, for the reminder to listen for each other’s song. I love seeing and hearing my Father in your stories. I see you, Karen.
